From the Dead’s Piano Bench to Indigo Park
Bruce Hornsby joined the Grateful Dead on keyboards in September 1990, after Brent Mydland’s death, and toured with the band until March 1992. More than three decades later, the Dead family still runs through his music: his latest album, Indigo Park, features Bob Weir and includes two songs co-written with the late Robert Hunter.
One on One with Christian McBride
Hornsby teams up with multi-Grammy-winning bassist and NJPAC Jazz Advisor Christian McBride for an intimate afternoon of playing and conversation on the Victoria Theater stage, celebrating Indigo Park. Two genre-crossing musicians with a long list of collaborators, sharing one small stage.
