Grahame Lesh & Friends
Two years after the passing of his father, Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh, guitarist and songwriter Grahame Lesh keeps the music moving, carrying the Lesh family’s catalog onto stages from Boston to Los Angeles to Fort Lauderdale.
Three Nights to Launch the Tour
The fall tour opens at one of Boston’s most storied rock rooms.
Get Tickets →Then it’s out to the island for an intimate two-night stand, with Halloween night itself on Nantucket.
Night 1 Tickets → Night 2 Tickets →New Album: Vol. 2 – Juno
The tour lands just ahead of Grahame Lesh & Friends Vol. 2 – Juno. Like 2024’s Vol. 1, it digs into unfinished musical ideas and overlooked songs tied to the Lesh family and the wider Grateful Dead community. The title nods to NASA’s Juno, the second spacecraft to orbit Jupiter, since the album holds the second recording of “Jupiter.”
The centerpiece is a nine-minute reimagining of “Wave to the Wind,” a Phil Lesh and Robert Hunter song the Grateful Dead played only a handful of times in the early 1990s. Adam Minkoff sings lead. Grahame calls it “the perfect song to be updated and completed with the benefit of time.” Expect some of these songs to surface in the fall sets alongside Dead favorites and classic jams.
