Dave’s Picks 2027
The Grateful Dead’s flagship archival series enters its 16th year. The 2027 subscription opens with a complete, previously unreleased 1974 show from UC Santa Barbara.
Straight from the Vault
Curated by Grateful Dead archivist David Lemieux, Dave’s Picks launched in 2012, picking up where the beloved Dick’s Picks and Road Trips series left off. Each release is a complete, previously unreleased concert, newly mastered from the band’s own tapes and pressed in a numbered, limited edition.
Vol. 61: Santa Barbara, May 25, 1974
The 2027 series opens at Campus Stadium at UC Santa Barbara, with the Dead at the height of the Wall of Sound era. The show was once considered for the 2018 Pacific Northwest ’73–’74 box set but was left out when that collection became a regional set. Now it finally gets its own release.
“It sounds as good as any Wall of Sound recording.” — David Lemieux
The 2027 Subscription

Subscriber-Only Bonus Disc
Ships with Vol. 62 and isn’t sold separately. Lemieux says this year’s pairing is “unlike any Dave’s Picks/Bonus Disc combination we’ve put together,” adding that “the bonus disc alone is really hot.” Details come in early 2027.
Free U.S. Shipping
Each volume ships to your door as it’s released throughout the year.
